9th KIMEP International Conference (KIRC)

Dear all,

Central Asian Tax Research Center (CATRC) cordially invites you to Special Session on Taxation on 19 April 2012 at 16:00-18:00 in the framework of the 9th KIMEP International Conference (KIRC).

The general topic of KIRC is “Central Asia: Regionalization vs. Globalization”.

It will be the 4th CATRC’s participation in KIRC. CATRC’s research assistants and KIMEP students will present on a number of tax-related issues of the region, including developments in cross-border activities, electronic commerce, use of special economic zones and implications of Dodd-Frank Act on tax reporting, as well as development of tax consulting profession.

Description of the event and program outline is attached.

The Special Session is organized with a purpose to carry out comparative research in the region on selected topics, to explore and analyse the similarities and unique features employed by various countries.

It will provide an opportunity for companies to find future valuable and knowledgeable employees as students will make a deep research and present the issue and their proficiency in this sphere.
